OWL’s Outing Club for Women welcomes women of any age to connect and learn with each other on regular outings throughout Downeast Maine. Our outings include a mix of moderate-advanced hikes, environmental stewardship projects, and opportunities for outdoor knowledge and skill-building. OWL is a collaboration between Women for Healthy Rural Living and Maine Outdoor School. Watch past OWL videos, read blog posts, join the Facebook group, and more.

We are also excited to partner with the Bike Bus program of the Washington County Council of Governments to offer a bicycle outing as part of The Womens’ Ride, a series of bike rides across Maine, sponsored by the Bicycle Coalition of Maine.

Registration is required and COVID-19 guidelines will be followed.

Links to registration forms will be added for each outing as they become available.
